All Saints Church of England Academy

70th Anniversary Cream Tea Afternoon

We were delighted to welcome former students and staff, as well as current, back to the school for a special cream tea celebrating the academy’s 70th anniversary. Alumni spanning several generations returned to share memories, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy live music performed by former student Lewis Snarey.
Guests explored a rich collection of archive materials, including vintage photographs and the school’s original handwritten logbook, sparking conversations about the school’s history and the lasting impact it has had on their lives. Some of which was kindly sent in by former students and staff.
Hosted warmly by current students, the afternoon created a wonderful sense of togetherness and highlighted the strong community spirit that continues to define All Saints. The cream tea is one of several events taking place throughout the year to honour the academy’s longstanding place within the Weymouth community and its continued connection with past and present students alike.
