STUDENTS AT ALL SAINTS ACADEMY CELEBRATE ‘STRONGEST GCSE RESULTS IN YEARS’
Students and staff at All Saints Church of England Academy are celebrating improved GCSE results this summer, marking another year of significant academic progress for the school. The Year 11 cohort has achieved the strongest results the academy has seen in recent years, with improvements in attainment across key subjects like English and Maths.
Principal Helen Cullen shared her pride in the students: "We are so proud of our Year 11 students," she said. "The class of 2025 leaves All Saints with the strongest set of results the school has seen in years, and they should be rightly proud of their achievements. As a school, we have embraced a new teaching and learning approach, with staff working incredibly hard to inspire students and raise aspirations. Our students’ results today reflect this, and we wish them every success and happiness as they move on to the next stage of their education."
The positive trend in results builds on last year's performance, when All Saints Academy achieved the highest Progress 8 score among all Chesil Secondary Schools. This year’s results show particularly strong performances in several subjects:
GCSE Computer Science: 87% of students achieved a grade 9-4.
GCSE RE: 78% of students achieved a grade 9-4.
The academy also saw strong attainment and progress in both GCSE Geography and History. A number of students achieved exceptional individual results, reflecting their hard work and dedication. Among the top-performing students for attainment were:
Chloe, who joined All Saints from Holy Trinity Primary School, secured an impressive 7 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s.
Steny, who achieved a brilliant 6 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and one grade 7.
Holly, who joined All Saints from Wyke Regis Primary School, achieved 4 grade 9s, 1 grade 8, 2 grade 7s, 1 grade 6, and 2 grade 5s.

Daniel, who joined All Saints from Wyke Regis Primary School, achieved a Level 2 Distinction*, 1 grade 9, 2 grade 8s, 3 grade 7s, and 2 grade 6s.
Matt Britt, Chief Education Officer for Authentic Education, which operates All Saints Academy, praised the collective effort of the school community: "The staff, parents, and students of All Saints should be truly proud of the progress they have made together over the past two years," he said. "This academy's Christian ethos and shared values, combined with high-quality teaching, make it a wonderful place to learn and grow. Thanks to Helen and her team, every student experiences enriched personal, academic, and social growth."
