Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you for your communication and support this week – please do take a moment to read the updates below:

Year 11 Leavers

A big well done to our Year 11 pupils for taking part in the Leavers Day activities this week. Congratulations for completing your journey at All Saints – it has certainly flown by!

I have been impressed with how pupils have done this year, particularly after the disruption due to the Covid pandemic. You have shown resilience and determination throughout the last three years in particular and we would all like to wish you every success with your futures. We look forward to keeping in touch at the Prom and on Results Day.

School Day Timings

I have written to all parents with details of the school day for 2022-23. There is a letter on our website that can be accessed here

School Show

We are really pleased to announce our show for next year – this is Legally Blonde Junior!

It has been some years since the school has done a show so this will be an excellent occasion I am sure for pupils to showcase their talents and abilities.

More details will be shared soon but don’t worry about missing auditions if you have a busy Term 6 – these will take place in September!

Year 5 STEAM Days

It was a delight to welcome Year 5 pupils and staff today from Bincombe, St Nichols & St Laurence’s and St Augustine’s to take part in our STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Maths)

Pupils took part in a range of activities and enjoyed seeing what secondary school can offer in terms of slightly more specialist rooms and spaces. Thank you so much to colleagues from the Primary Schools for taking part and for shaping such incredible children!

KS3 Assessments

Well done Year 9 & Year 8 for sitting your first end of year assessments today. Pupils behaved well and engaged really positively with the process. I would encourage everyone in Year 7, 8 & 9 to continue to revise for these over the next week or so

Finally

I hope the weather returns to the recent sunny spell soon – it’s just started pouring as I write this! Enjoy a great weekend.

Kind Regards

John Cornish
