Dear Parents and Carers
I hope this finds you well on what has been a cold day today!
As ever it has been a busy week with some of the key events below:
This week…
- We have had a number of sports fixtures this week to celebrate with our Year 7 girls football team playing St Edwards in the County Cup and the Year 7 & 8 Racquet Sports Team playing at Wey Valley winning a lot of trophies also. Well done to every pupil who takes part in sports clubs – please keep up the good work!
- Thank you to our Year 7 Parents, Carers and Pupils for attending our Year 7 Parent Consultation Evening on Thursday this week. It was really great to have this as a face to face parents evening. All of our Parents’ Evening will be face to face for the rest of the year
- There has been soem great work by our World Challenge pupils this week with a number of bake sales and support for the Year 7 PCE. Thank you to everyone who donated generously…and those at home who supported with recipes and baking help 🙂
Coming up…

12 December – Christmas Lunch – £2.20 for everyone who wishes to enjoy a full meal
14 December – Christmas Showcase from our Performing Arts Department. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for pupils

Year 11 Parents Evening
After Christmas, our Year 11 Parents & Carers are invitied to the next Parents Evening. This is on Thursday 4 January
Finally…
I am really impressed with pupil punctuality and behaviour at the moment. Since introducing the new system of punctuality, lesson removals have dropped as have behaviour points. Please encourage your child to keep up the good work and engage fully in class.
I hope the weekend stays bright and clear and you enjoy some time with your friends and family.
Best wishes
John Cornish
Principal
